Quality Assurance Coordinator (Food Industry)
Role Overview:
- Responsible for inspecting raw materials, in-process production, and finished goods.
- Ensures compliance with company standards, ISO, BRC, and regulatory requirements.
- Conducts sampling, basic lab testing (microbiology, chemical, sensory checks).
- Documents findings, raises non-conformities, and follows corrective actions.
Basic Requirements:
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in food science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or Quality Assurance.
- Knowledge of food safety systems (HACCP, ISO 22000, GMP, BRC).
- Analytical skills to interpret testing results and inspection reports.
- Good reporting/documentation skills in English (and Arabic is a plus in UAE).
- Basic computer skills (Excel, ERP/QA software).
Study Background (Recommended):
- Diploma in Food Technology or Quality Assurance for entry level.
- BSc in Food Science, Microbiology, or Chemistry for higher roles.
- Certifications in HACCP Level 1/2, ISO 22000 internal auditor training strengthen profile.
