Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a QA Engineer with previous experience in the Fintech industry, particularly in billing and payment systems, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and execute test plans and test cases for systems and applications.
• Test APIs and validate responses and data integrity.
• Build and maintain automated test scripts .
• Write SQL queries to verify data accuracy in databases.
• Document and track bugs with the development team.
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure product quality prior to release.

Key Requirements:

• Solid understanding of API and backend service testing
• Proficiency in writing SQL queries to extract and validate data
• Hands-on experience with test automation, including backend services and API contracts
• Experience with SOAP services, XML services, and third-party integrations
• Good knowledge of the Finance domain
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
• ISTQB-FL certification is preferred
• ISTQB-TA certification is preferred
