Quality Assurance Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Perform manual and exploratory testing to ensure high-quality releases.

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API testing using appropriate frameworks.

Build automation frameworks from scratch in areas without existing coverage and maintain/expand frameworks where they exist.

Collaborate closely with backend developers, frontend developers, product managers, and designers to define test strategies and acceptance criteria.

Conduct regression testing, integration testing, and smoke testing for major releases.

Identify, document, and track bugs to closure.

Contribute to CI/CD integration of test automation suites for continuous testing.

Help define and implement QA processes and best practices

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of professional QA experience in manual and automation testing.

Strong experience with Playwright or Cypress for web automation.

Experience with Appium for mobile automation.

Experience with Postman/Newman or Pytest for API testing.

Experience with Python for automation scripting.

Proficiency in JavaScript for writing and maintaining automation scripts.

Ability to work independently, taking ownership of test planning and execution.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Nice-to-Have

Certifications such as ISTQB or equivalent.

Prior experience in fintech, payments, or loyalty platforms.

Exposure to CI/CD tools and pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins).
