Quality Systems & Compliance:
- Support the maintenance and continuous improvement of the company's QMS in alignment with GFSI standards (e.g., BRCGS, IFS) and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in preparing for and coordinating internal, customer, and thirdparty audits.
- Track audit findings, corrective actions, and preventive measures to ensure timely closure.
General responsibilities:
- Taking care of all quality & food safety systems implementation in the related factory.
- Align and review with the site team in case of any quality or food safety issues, getting the correct RCA and CAPA in place
- Responsible for the release of lots (Final release) after checking it against customer specs, ensuring the food safety, physical, and microbiological results comply.
- Lead customer complaints investigations and share the related RCA and CAPA on time (work on any related actions and conduct the needed follow-ups with the assigned departments).
- Responsible for planning micro & chemical monitoring plans and their execution actions.
- Investigate all food safety accidents and ensure appropriate controls are implemented to prevent their recurrence, having the correct trend analyses in place to prevent the recurrence of the same incidents.
- Leader of the change management system and ensure its implementation.
- Responsible for the site QA department budget.
- Responsible for the development plans of the team.
- Responsible for the objectives of the team and their alignment with ofi's objectives.
- Food Safety team leader of the site, covering all the duties as required by BRC & ISO 2200 or delegating them accordingly.
- Laboratory manager of the site, covering all duties as required by ISO 17025 or delegating them accordingly.
- Ensure adequate analytical competence to perform the required analyses and adequate monitoring of the efficacy of rapid methods.
- Ensure the monitoring of key quality parameters by means of statistical process control.
- Lead the factory management review of quality (MRQ) and implementation of its CAPA.
- Ensure the readiness of site for all external compliance audit, customer visits & audits and reports to top management the gaps during the assessment of readiness to audit.
- Give guidance on the customers requirements based on historical data and current situation.
- Arrange with QC periodic monitoring of physical results water analysis
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Bachelor of Sciences, Pharmacy or Medicine.
- 5 to 8 years of experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Control in food manufacturing.
- Knowledge and implementation of HACCP, GMP, QMS
- Open to new ideas and technologies as well as innovation in his current areas.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills with a demonstrated ability to effectively work with all managerial levels, and with external contacts.
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills with and ability to understand the key requirements in continuous improvement & carry out data analysis and data-based decision making.
- Team player, problem solving, learning ability, Effective computing, numeracy skills & Energetic
- Good coach and have skills of motivating & mentoring.
