The QA/QC Inspector is responsible for ensuring that all infrastructure works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, method statements, and quality standards. The role involves conducting site inspections, coordinating with project teams, and maintaining quality documentation to ensure compliance with project and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspection & Quality Control
- Conduct site inspections for infrastructure works including roads, utilities, drainage, and earthworks.
- Verify that works are carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and method statements.
- Perform material inspections and testing coordination with approved laboratories.
- Ensure compliance with ITPs (Inspection and Test Plans) and quality procedures.
Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare and submit Inspection Requests (IRs) and ensure approvals from consultants.
- Maintain records of quality inspections, test reports, NCRs, and corrective actions.
- Assist in closing Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and ensure corrective measures are implemented.
Coordination
- Coordinate with site engineers, subcontractors, and consultants for inspection approvals.
- Monitor ongoing works to ensure adherence to project quality standards and safety requirements.
- Support QA/QC Engineers in quality audits and documentation.
Requirements:
- Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- 58 years of QA/QC inspection experience with infrastructure contractors.
- Strong knowledge of road works, utilities, drainage, and earthworks.
- Familiar with ITPs, method statements, and inspection procedures.
- Experience working with consultants and approval processes.
- Knowledge of UAE standards and project specifications.
