KBE is a leading manufacturer of air movement & fire smoke management products, dedicated to providing the best service for the HVAC market. Founded in 1979 by Khalil A. Boutros, KBE has expanded its product line to include most air distribution products for use in residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional buildings.

Job Summary

The Quality Assurance Specialist will play a key role in strengthening KBE's Quality Management System through a risk-based and process-oriented approach aligned with ISO 9001:2015 standards.

This role focuses on:

  • analyzing and improving operational processes,
  • identifying quality risks within procedures and workflows,
  • collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement robust processes,
  • and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

This is not a product inspection role; instead, the position emphasizes preventive quality, process development, and internal auditing to enhance operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct risk-based analysis of existing procedures and identify process gaps.
  • Collaborate with departments to develop and optimize workflows and operational procedures.
  • Lead or support creation of new processes aligned with ISO 9001:2015 principles.
  • Perform internal audits with focus on system improvement and risk mitigation.
  • Identify preventive actions to eliminate potential quality risks.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across departments.
  • Maintain and enhance Quality Management System documentation.
  • ISO 9001:2015 implementation.
  • Risk-based thinking.
  • Procedure development.
  • Cross-functional process design.
  • Internal audit.
  • Documentation control

Qualifications

  • 12 years experience in Quality Assurance, Process Improvement, or QMS.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and risk-based thinking.
  • Experience reviewing procedures or supporting process design/improvement.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and facilitate process development workshops.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in process mapping, workflow analysis, or SOP development is highly valued.
