Key Responsibilities for S . Quality Control Engineer
- Conduct daily inspections of ongoing site works to verify compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and standards.
- Review material submittals, inspection requests (IRs), and test reports to ensure conformity with project requirements.
- Prepare and maintain quality records, including inspection reports, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and corrective action logs.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and site engineers for quality-related issues and ensure proper documentation.
- Monitor concrete works, steel reinforcement, finishing works, and material testing according to project scope.
- Ensure calibration and validity of testing equipment and tools used in inspection activities.
- Follow up on closure of NCRs and preventive/corrective actions.
- Support implementation of the Project Quality Plan (PQP) and company QA/QC procedures.
- Participate in internal and external quality audits.
- Provide training and awareness sessions for site staff regarding quality procedures and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil
- 3 5 years of experience in quality control or QA/QC roles within construction or manufacturing sectors.
- Solid knowledge of QA/QC standards, procedures, and testing methods.
- Familiarity with international standards such as ISO 9001, ASTM, ACI, or BS.
- Strong documentation, communication, and reporting skills.
- Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and quality management software.
- Willingness to Relocate to New Damietta ( with Housing on the Company )
