Quality Control Manager

Job Purpose:
We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager to lead and manage all quality control activities within our food manufacturing operations. The role ensures that all products meet local and international quality and food safety standards through effective inspection, testing, and continuous improvement practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and update quality control policies and procedures.
- Oversee quality laboratory operations for raw materials, packaging materials, and in-process production controls.
- Manage inspection and testing activities across all stages of the manufacturing process.
- Ensure production processes comply with approved quality standards and specifications.
- Review laboratory test results and initiate corrective and preventive actions.
- Investigate non-conformities, identify root causes, and implement preventive measures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date quality records and documentation.
- Lead the implementation and maintenance of FSSC 22000 and HACCP systems.
- Prepare and present periodic quality performance reports and KPIs to senior management.
- Conduct internal training programs on quality and food safety requirements.
- Lead, develop, and motivate the quality team to achieve departmental objectives.
- Collaborate with Production, Maintenance, and Procurement teams to resolve quality-related issues.
- Participate in internal and external quality audits.
- Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety requirements within laboratory and inspection activities.
- Represent the company before regulatory authorities and food safety agencies.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry, Agriculture, or a related field.
- Professional certifications in HACCP, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000 are preferred.
- 1015 years of experience in Quality Control within the food manufacturing industry.
- Proven leadership experience managing quality teams.
- Strong knowledge of food industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Experience in internal audits, quality systems implementation, and continuous improvement.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
