Quality Engineering Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the quality engineering strategy for store and retail applications (POS, SIM, Clienteling, RFID, Oracle Retail RMS, RPM, RESA).
• Establish and scale test automation frameworks, performance testing, and observability-based validation for high-volume retail environments.
• Implement AI- and LLM-powered quality tools for defect prediction, test generation, and regression optimization.
• Integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines in partnership with DevOps and Engineering teams.
• Oversee non-functional testing (performance, scalability, failover) and system integrations.
• Define and track quality KPIs automation coverage, defect leakage, and release readiness.
• Lead, mentor, and grow teams of QA Engineers, SDETs, and Automation Specialists.

Skills & Experience

• 1216 years of total experience, with 5+ years in QA leadership for large-scale retail or consumer tech systems.
• Hands-on experience in Store Systems (POS, SIM, Clienteling, RFID) and Oracle Retail modules (RMS, RPM, RESA).
• Expertise in automation tools Selenium, Appium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar.
• Experience in performance testing tools JMeter, Gatling, or k6.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD, microservices, and cloud-native testing environments.
• Exposure to AI-based quality tools for intelligent test optimization and defect analytics.
• Proven leadership in building high-performing QA teams and driving process maturity.
