Could you be the full-time Quality Lead Engineer Sig and Comms we're looking for

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your **engineering and quality assurance** expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You'll work alongside **dedicated and innovative** teammates.

You'll play a critical role in ensuring that our projects meet the highest quality standards and that our subcontractors align with Alstom's quality assurance and control requirements. Day-to-day, you'll work closely with teams across the business (**installation, testing and commissioning, and customer interface teams**), **conduct on-site quality investigations**, and much more.

You'll specifically take care of **ensuring quality compliance for factory acceptance tests (FAT), equipment installation, and test & commissioning**, but also **support installation and testing teams to meet Alstom's quality standards**.

We'll look to you for:

  • Ensuring that Quality Assurance and Quality Control rules and procedures are implemented in subcontractors organizations to meet Alstom's standards.
  • Participating in 4M reviews for quality before the start of installation and testing & commissioning.
  • Preparing and reviewing quality control plans, including tests, inspections, and required evidence.
  • Ensuring subcontractors perform tests and inspections according to QC plans and validating inspection reports before customer submission.
  • Tracking and resolving non-conformance issues related to materials, execution, and workmanship, ensuring all actions are completed.
  • Reviewing and ensuring the quality of handover files from installation teams before submission to the client.
  • Monitoring and reporting the cost of non-quality (CONQ) and implementing preventive measures.
  • Conducting regular audits, following up on action plans, and ensuring proper documentation and compliance with quality standards.
  • Collaborating with customers to address and resolve quality-related issues.

All About You

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical or Mechatronics).
  • 6-8 years of experience in projects, with quality experience being an advantage.
  • Work experience in depot equipment and track switches.
  • Familiarity with working in matrix organizations (railway experience preferred).
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint applications.
  • Fluency in Arabic and English (French is an advantage).
  • Strong analytical thinking and a rigorous mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a focus on transparency and ethical behavior.
  • Ability to work under pressure, make timely decisions, and meet deadlines.
  • Teamwork and leadership skills, with a focus on collaboration and reliability.
