Role Description
- Lead and manage all QA and QC activities across the manufacturing site.
- Build, train, and mentor a high-performing quality team.
- Develop and implement the overallQuality Strategy, ensuring alignment with company goals and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee internal and external audits; manage audit readiness and closure of findings.
- Establish and enforce quality policies, procedures, and documentation control systems.
- Oversee inspection processes forincoming materials,in-process production, andfinished goods.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency in measurement and testing methods.
- Maintain and calibrate testing and inspection equipment.
- Leadroot cause analysis (RCA)andCorrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA)for internal issues and customer complaints.
- Monitor key quality metrics (e.g., defect rates, scrap rates, rework, customer returns).
- Drivecontinuous improvement initiativesusing Lean, Six Sigma, and 5S methodologies.
- Work closely with Production, Engineering, Procurement, and Supply Chain teams to resolve quality issues and implement improvements.
- Act as the primary quality point of contact for customers and suppliers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field.
- Minimum10+ yearsof experience .
- Strong understanding of both QA and QC functions.
- Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
