Quant Trader (Crypto)

We are looking for a Quant Trader specialising in crypto markets to join our quantitative trading desk. This role focuses on developing, testing, and executing systematic trading strategies across CeFi and DeFi venues.

You will work with large datasets, market data feeds, and execution infrastructure to generate alpha while managing risk. If you have a strong background in quantitative finance, statistics, or programming, and you understand crypto market microstructure, we want to hear from you.

• Develop and implement quantitative trading strategies (market making, arbitrage, statistical arbitrage, momentum, mean reversion)
• Backtest and optimise strategies using historical market data
• Monitor live performance, risk metrics, and execution quality
• Analyse market microstructure, order flow, liquidity, and volatility regimes
• Work with tick‑level data, order book snapshots, and trade execution logs
• Collaborate with developers to improve trading infrastructure and execution tools
• Maintain clear documentation of models, assumptions, and performance results

• Strong background in quantitative finance, mathematics, statistics, or computer science
• Proven experience developing and trading systematic strategies in crypto or traditional finance
• Proficiency in Python (pandas, NumPy, vectorised backtesting) – experience with C++ / Rust is a plus
• Deep understanding of crypto market microstructure (CEX order books, DEX mechanics, funding rates, liquidations)
• Experience with market data APIs, exchange connectivity (REST / WebSocket), and backtesting frameworks
• Ability to work independently in a remote, fast‑paced environment
• Candidates with a verifiable track record in crypto quant trading will stand out
