Quantity Surveyor - Civil

Responsibilities

• Conduct land surveys to establish boundary lines, property corners, and topographic features.
• Use surveying instruments, such as total stations and GPS equipment, to collect accurate measurements.
• Prepare survey drawings, maps, and reports based on collected data.
• Assist in the preparation of legal descriptions and survey documents.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and construction teams to provide survey data for project planning and design.
• Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with specifications and alignment.
• Conduct as-built surveys to verify completed work and update drawings accordingly.
• Maintain and calibrate surveying equipment and tools.
• Ensure adherence to surveying standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
• Stay updated on new surveying techniques, equipment, and industry best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Diplom in Surveying, Geomatics, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a surveyor in construction surveying.
• Proficiency in using surveying instruments and software.
• Strong knowledge of surveying techniques, methods, and principles.
• Familiarity with CAD software and survey data processing.
• Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
