We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor with strong experience in interior fitout projects across F&B outlets, luxury villas, and office spaces. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in cost management, procurement, materials knowledge, and the ability to provide accurate quantity take-offs and project cost controls.
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQs, and budgets for interior fitout projects.
- Conduct quantity take-offs from drawings, material specifications, and design documents.
- Monitor project costs and prepare cost variance reports.
- Manage procurement activities including material sourcing, comparison sheets, supplier negotiations, and purchase recommendations.
- Evaluate vendor quotations to ensure compliance with project specifications and budget.
- Maintain updated databases of suppliers, subcontractors, and material rates.
- Prepare and review contracts, subcontracts, and commercial agreements.
- Manage variations, change orders, and claims in coordination with the project team.
- Support in tendering processes, pricing, and bid evaluations.
- Track material consumption, site progress, and financial status.
- Prepare periodic cost reports for management and clients.
- Support project managers with forecasts, cashflow projections, and commercial insights.
- Strong understanding of interior fitout materials such as finishes, joinery, MEP interfaces, and specialty items.
- Ensure materials meet required standards and project quality specifications.
- Coordinate with designers, engineers, and site teams for technical clarifications.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 47 years experience as a QS within the interior fitout industry in the UAE.
- Hands-on experience in F&B, villa, and office interior projects is essential.
- Strong knowledge of cost control, procurement, and material management.
- Excellent understanding of drawings, specifications, and technical details.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and QS software tools.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
- Immediate availability is mandatory.
