Job Description

Job Purpose:

To maximize project margin and add value to the construction process by proactive involvement in procurement, cost management and reporting. To drive best value from suppliers and subcontractors. To carry out monthly financial reviews on projects and forecast final outturn values for cost, sales, and margin. Timely submission and negotiation of final accounts to the client / main contractor and subcontractors. Must have experience in EPC contracts.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise projects: review BOQs, monitor site progress, ensure specifications and cost efficiency.
  • Manage contractors: validate timesheets, claims, and payments in line with contracts.
  • Handle payment applications: review, verify, and report discrepancies to project manager.
  • Conduct contract surveying: monthly valuations, cashflow forecasts, contract variations, and final accounts.
  • Oversee inventory: maintain materials records, verify costs against estimates, and ensure budget compliance.
  • Perform risk and value management to optimize project efficiency and margins.
  • Vet subcontractor tenders and contracts for commercial and technical compliance.
  • Prepare balance sheets and project reports for management review.
  • Ensure all project documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with standards.
