Epasero Contracting is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor / Procurement Engineer to support our growing fit-out and interior contracting operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cost estimation, preparation of quotations, BOQs, and managing procurement activities to ensure projects are delivered on budget and on schedule.
This role requires strong knowledge of fit-out materials, supplier networks in the UAE, and cost control practices, with the ability to work closely with the design and project management teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Quantity Surveying & Estimation
- Prepare detailed BOQs and cost estimates for fit-out and interior projects
- Review drawings and specifications to prepare accurate project quotations
- Analyze project requirements and calculate material, labor, and subcontractor costs
- Prepare tender documents, cost breakdowns, and commercial proposals
- Evaluate subcontractor quotations and prepare comparison reports
- Monitor project costs and assist in budget control and cost tracking
Procurement & Supplier Coordination
- Source and evaluate suppliers, subcontractors, and materials for projects
- Request and negotiate competitive quotations from suppliers
- Prepare purchase orders and coordinate material procurement
- Maintain strong relationships with local suppliers and subcontractors
- Ensure materials meet project specifications and delivery schedules
- Track orders and coordinate deliveries with the project/site team
Coordination & Reporting
- Work closely with design, project management, and site teams to ensure accurate costing and procurement planning
- Maintain organized cost databases, supplier lists, and procurement records
- Assist management in value engineering and cost optimization
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Quantity Surveying
- Minimum 35 years of experience in UAE fit-out or interior contracting
- Strong experience in BOQ preparation, cost estimation, and procurement
- Good knowledge of fit-out materials, suppliers, and subcontractors in Dubai
- Proficiency in Excel, AutoCAD, and estimation software
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced start-up environment
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with interior fit-out, joinery, and finishing works
- Strong supplier network within the UAE
- Ability to manage multiple quotations and procurement tasks simultaneously
