Role Description

As a Quantity Surveyor specializing in electrical works, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of electrical cost estimation, budgeting, and project valuations from inception to completion. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kuwait. Duties include preparing cost estimates, managing tender processes, conducting material take-offs, evaluating project progress, and ensuring cost control and compliance with project specifications. The role also involves collaboration with project teams, clients, and contractors to ensure effective execution and timely delivery of projects.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in cost estimation, budgeting, and project cost analysis
  • Experience with tendering processes, contract administration, and financial reporting
  • In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, materials, and methodologies applicable in construction projects
  • Strong skills in quantity take-offs, cost control, and relevant software tools
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under strict timelines
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and other construction management software
  • Professional qualification or Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
  • Prior experience as a Quantity Surveyor with a focus on electrical construction is highly advantageous
  • Working knowledge of local building codes, MEP systems, and safety regulations
