We are hiring a QuickBooks Bookkeeper Assistant for a property management accounting company in the real estate and community association management industry. This is a part-time remote role for a USAbased company. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, highly organized, and experienced in managing full-cycle bookkeeping across multiple entities, with strong communication skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily financial operations across multiple entities using QuickBooks, Caliber, and FrontSteps
- Handle accounts receivable, including posting payments, resolving discrepancies, and tracking delinquencies
- Manage accounts payable, including reviewing invoices and processing vendor payments
- Perform regular bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Prepare monthly financial reports (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, General Ledger)
- Support property managers, homeowners, and vendors with financial queries
- Compile financial reports for board meetings and provide insights on budgets and delinquencies
- Create invoices and track payments for multiple businesses
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely processing of all transactions
Required Qualifications:
- 3 + years of proven experience as a Bookkeeper or Accountant (property management or HOA experience preferred)
- 3+ years of experience and strong knowledge of full-cycle accounting (AP, AR, reconciliations, financial reporting)
- 1 + years of experience working remotely and independently
- 1+ years of experience using QuickBooks (essential)
- Experience managing multiple accounts/entities simultaneously
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with HOA/property management accounting
- Familiarity with Caliber and FrontSteps software
- Experience coordinating with property managers and boards
- Knowledge of collections processes within property management

Schedule & Pay:
- Part-time (20 hours per week) transitioning to full-time (40 hours per week); Eastern Time Zone
- This is a fully remote job for a USA-based company
- Pay ranges from ZAR6500 - ZAR8000 per month (20 hours/week) for part-time and then ZAR15,000 to ZAR18,000 per month(40 hours/week) for full-time; depending on experience and skill
