About the Role
We are looking for a Packaging Developer to join our R&D team and support innovation within the Hero products packaging. In this role, you will lead packaging development projects from concept to launch, ensuring packaging solutions meet consumer needs, sustainability goals, and supply chain requirements.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Supply Chain, Quality, and external packaging suppliers to deliver innovative and efficient packaging solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead innovation and renovation packaging projects
- Develop primary, secondary, and tertiary packaging solutions
- Ensure packaging meets consumer needs, regulatory requirements, and internal standards
- Manage packaging development from concept through industrialization and launch
- Attend factory trials and product launches to support implementation
- Work with suppliers to test and evaluate alternative packaging materials
- Maintain packaging specifications and bill of materials in SAP
- Support supplier qualification and packaging material sourcing
- Provide packaging expertise to marketing, sales, quality, and supply chain teams
- Identify new packaging trends and innovation opportunities through industry research and supplier engagement
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering, Packaging Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- 2-5 years experience in packaging development (glass, plastics, metal, paper materials)
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and external suppliers
- Knowledge of packaging materials and industrial processes
- Excellent command in English
