Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct reliability studies, equipment performance analyses, and trend assessments.
- Identify bad actors, perform root cause analysis, and recommend engineering solutions.
- Develop reliability KPIs, dashboards, and monthly analysis reports.
- Analyze Process and Machinery data to predict failure through pattern recognition.
- Improve asset availability through performance monitoring, defect elimination, and reliability
improvement plans.
- Collaborate with Operations & Maintenance to drive the reduction of recurring failures.
- Support CAPEX/Project stages through reliability input (design reviews, RBI, RAM modelling).
- Support ROC & RSC action plan
- Support Assessment Management and Reliability Framework, including Process Safety , and AIMS
Competencies
- Solid understanding of reliability engineering concepts (Weibull analysis, reliability modelling).
- Proficient in RCA methodologies and data analysis tools.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Knowledge of rotating/static equipment principles.
- Ability to interpret CBM and PdM technologies.
- Proficiency in reliability software (e.g., Weibull++, Meridium, etc. is an advantage).
- CMRP (Highly Preferred)
- CRL
- CRE Certified Reliability Engineer (ASQ)
- RCA training certification (TapRooT)
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (BE) or an equivalent qualification from a reputable university.
Min. 15 years relevant technical experience in engineering field in large Refinery or Petrochemical
