We are actively seeking an ambitious professional to join our team at ADCB to work alongside passionate colleagues who share your ambition to redefine excellence in banking.

In this role, your key responsibilities include:

  • Manage and strengthen UAE National (UAEN) employees in the center through coaching, clear direction, and by facilitating access to appropriate resources and support, ensuring continuous growth, adaptability, and readiness to meet organizational objectives.
  • Drive engagement, collaboration, and high performance by creating an inclusive environment that empowers UAEN, fosters trust, and aligns team capabilities with evolving business priorities to achieve sustainable success.
  • Lead and oversee all operational activities within the Al Ain region, including branches and support units. Collaborate with senior management to drive regional growth initiatives.
  • Oversee the team providing RM-related support to CIBG clients, ensuring high-quality service and client satisfaction. Manage Tamooha Operations and the work hub to ensure seamless customer experience.
  • Develop and implement regional strategies aligned with overall organizational objectives. Monitor regional performance metrics and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Supervise and coordinate the performance of branch offices, ensuring adherence to organizational standards and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Ensure SOP adherence, capacity planning, and EOD controls.
  • Optimize turnaround times (TATs) for processes and ensure SLA compliance.
  • Contribute to organizational and departmental change initiatives, programs, and projects to support the continuous improvement of the business.
  • Represent the Bank in community initiatives, CSR, and local forums to strengthen brand trust within Al Ain region.
  • Provide relevant input in order to enable GBS and the Bank towards decisions to be made on Al Ain region's portfolio performance, planning, and other generic risk management activities.
  • Represent Al Ain Center by attending GBS and senior management meetings, reporting on performance, highlighting issues and challenges, and recommending solutions within areas of direct control.
  • Ensure sufficient actions are taken in order to mitigate and reduce identified operational risks and report findings in line with the required standards.
  • Drive audit readiness and oversee remediation of audit/ compliance findings within agreed timelines.
  • Monitor and reduce operational losses, fraud, incident rates, cash differences, and exception items.
  • Collaborate with the Management Executive Committee (MEC) members and key stakeholders in order to drive the implementation of a world class service organization.
  • Support business leaders across the Bank to select, lead, and deliver service change programmes in order to drive improvement in customer service, revenue growth, efficiency and other key performance measures.
  • Act as the primary liaison with internal stakeholders including Retail Banking, Corporate & Investment Banking, Group Credit, Group Business Services & ITMAM, Group Risk, Group Compliance. Represent Al Ain Region in strategic forums and contribute to enterprise-wide transformation initiatives.
  • Approve regional staffing plans, shift patterns, leave calendars, and training schedules.
  • Enforce policy adherence and temporary dispensations as per delegated authorities. Authorize operational expenditure within budget and thresholds.
  • Escalate suspicious activity, serious incidents, and noncompliance promptly.

The ideal candidate should have the following experience:

  • At least 9 years of experience in related field in people management and leadership, preferably in the financial services industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Finance, or related field.
  • Banking Expertise and Knowledge of Banking Systems (e.g., loan processing, limits, collaterals)
  • People Management and Leadership
  • Communication and Stakeholder engagement
  • Regulatory and Compliance Knowledge (UAE, GCC)
  • Project Management and Organizing/Scheduling Skills
  • Budgeting, Administration and Control
