We're seeking a Regional Legal Head MEA to join our client and lead their legal strategy, safeguard organisational interests, and drive compliance excellence across a diverse and dynamic region.

About the Role

In this influential regional position, you will oversee all legal operations, ensuring full compliance, mitigating risk, and providing strategic legal guidance to senior stakeholders. Your remit will span advisory work, contracts, litigation, intellectual property, compliance frameworks, and the leadership of a high performing legal team.

Regional Head of Legal Key Responsibilities

Develop regional legal policies and internal standards.

Ensure regulatory compliance, including drafting compliance manuals.

Provide proactive risk assessments and mitigation strategies.

Safeguard the organisation's legal and ethical standards through training and guidance.

Lead litigation, arbitration, and dispute resolution activities.

Draft, negotiate, and manage complex contracts and agreements.

Provide business focused legal advice to cross functional teams.

Oversee intellectual property protection and registration.

Develop and mentor the legal team.

Build a strong succession pipeline (1:2 ratio).

Regional Head of Legal Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree in law (mandatory).

Arabic language proficiency required.

1015 years of experience in Corporate & Legal Affairs.

Strong grounding in legal management, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance.

Deep familiarity with regional law enforcement, government processes & regulatory bodies.

Established relationships across legal and judicial authorities

Strong communication, leadership, and agility.

High digital fluency and commitment to DEI.

Expertise in contract drafting, IP rights, legal compliance, and dispute resolution.
