Regional Legal Research Manager

We are assisting an international law firm with a strong presence across the Middle East, in their search for a Regional Legal Research Manager to join its growing team in the UAE.

This is a regional position supporting both the UAE and KSA offices, and can be based in either Dubai or Abu Dhabi.

This is an exciting opportunity for a legally trained research professional who thrives on analysis, precision, and delivering high-quality legal insight to support fee earners and leadership teams across multiple jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth legal and regulatory research across UAE and KSA jurisdictions
• Analyse legislation, case law, and regulatory developments, producing clear, concise research outputs
• Support lawyers with complex research requests across practice areas
• Monitor and track legal developments and industry trends
• Manage and enhance legal knowledge resources and research tools
• Contribute to the development of internal research processes and best practice standards

Responsibilities:

• Strong legal research and analytical skills are essential
• Experience within a law firm, legal consultancy, or professional services environment
• Background in legal library services or legal information management is highly beneficial
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to synthesise complex information clearly
• Confident working across multiple jurisdictions
• Proactive, organised, and able to manage competing priorities

Career Progression:

While this role does not initially include line management responsibilities, there is clear scope to build and lead a small regional research function over time, with plans to hire 12 additional team members reporting into this role.
