Regional Manager
The Regional Manager is fully responsible for end-to-end management of the assigned region at Al Jeri Transportation Company.
This role includes complete oversight of operations, people management, financial performance, client relationships, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Full responsibility for all operational activities within the assigned region, ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
- Lead, manage, and develop regional teams, including drivers, supervisors, technicians, and operational staff.
- Own and achieve regional operational and financial targets, including revenue growth, cost control, productivity, and service quality.
- Oversee transportation operations to ensure efficiency, safety, and reliability.
- Coordinate closely with Maintenance, HSE, HR, Finance, and Customer Service to ensure seamless and efficient operations.
- Ensure full compliance with safety, quality, and HSE standards across all transportation activities.
- Prepare and submit regular operational, financial, and performance reports to senior management, highlighting challenges, risks, and corrective actions.
- Maintain strong relationships with key clients and strategic partners within the region to ensure customer satisfaction and contract compliance.
- Lead regional planning and business expansion initiatives, identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency and grow the business.
- Ensure compliance with local transportation laws, industry standards, and company requirements across all regional operations.
Authority & Accountability
- Full operational authority within the assigned region.
- Direct accountability for regional performance, safety, compliance, and profitability.
- Authority to make operational decisions and escalate strategic matters to senior management as required.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Transportation & Logistics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in transportation and logistics, with at least 3 years in a managerial or regional leadership role.
- Proven experience in transportation operations OR Oil & Gas logistics.
- Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to manage large, multi-functional teams.
- Solid knowledge of fleet operations, HSE requirements, local regulations, and transportation systems.
