European FMCG Giant | Jeddah, KSA | Scaling phase

If you've built distribution, grown a region, and can lead a sales team with real discipline (targets, coverage, forecasting, weekly cadence) this one's for you.

We're hiring a Regional Sales Manager for a European FMCG giant scaling up in Jeddah. This is a hands-on leadership role: you'll own the regional plan, drive sell-in/sell-out through an efficient distributor network, and lead a team of supervisors/executives to hit volume + profitability targets.

What you'll be doing

  • Build the regional sales strategy and turn it into a weekly execution plan across your territory
  • Manage and optimise the distribution network (coverage, routes, outlets, availability, pricing discipline)
  • Lead the regional sales team: clear KPIs, coaching, field direction, performance management
  • Run the operating rhythm: daily/weekly/monthly reviews, pipeline of actions, blockers, next steps
  • Track competitors closely (stock, pricing, promotions, activity) and feed market intel back into the plan
  • Own reporting and analysis: forecasting, regression-style trend analysis, cannibalisation impacts, target tracking
  • Partner with Trade Marketing, Logistics, Finance, Sales Excellence and HR to remove friction and scale performance
  • Build and protect key customer relationships across the region

What they're looking for

  • 3+ years experience in an Area Sales Manager / Regional Sales role with real target ownership
  • Strong preference for commodity frozen category exposure (or adjacent FMCG categories with similar dynamics)
  • Commercial maturity: negotiation, problem-solving, and calm execution under pressure
  • Strong organisation + communication (you can lead meetings that actually produce actions)
  • Advanced Excel / Microsoft Suite; comfortable with weekly/monthly reporting
  • ERP familiarity
  • Arabic speaker with good English
