Job Description

Role Overview

This senior leadership position is responsible for driving revenue growth and market expansion for a portfolio of outsourced retail banking and electronic payment solutions across the GCC region. The role combines strategic business development, enterprise sales execution, and team leadership, with a strong focus on building long-term partnerships within the banking and financial services ecosystem.

Key Accountabilities

Business Growth & Sales Leadership

  • Own and drive regional sales and business development initiatives for outsourced electronic payment and retail banking services.
  • Define and execute go-to-market strategies to achieve ambitious revenue and profitability targets.
  • Proactively identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities with banks and financial institutions.
  • Strengthen and expand relationships with existing clients to increase wallet share and long-term value.

Solutions & Market Expertise

  • Develop deep expertise in a broad range of electronic payments and banking outsourcing solutions, including:
  • ATM network ownership, outsourcing, and management models
  • Merchant acquiring and centralized processing platforms
  • Card issuing and processing services (debit, credit, prepaid)
  • Additional digital payment services such as gateways, money transfer, and emerging payment products
  • Maintain strong awareness of market trends, regulatory considerations, and competitive positioning across the GCC.

Strategic Planning & Execution

  • Create short- and medium-term regional sales strategies, including annual operating plans and multi-year growth roadmaps.
  • Identify opportunities for revenue expansion, market penetration, and operational efficiencies.
  • Partner with regional leadership to align sales strategy with broader business objectives.

Client Engagement & Deal Management

  • Lead complex sales cycles from initial engagement through contract negotiation and closing.
  • Oversee proposal development and pricing in coordination with internal commercial, finance, and legal teams.
  • Act as a senior point of contact for key clients and stakeholders.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Build, lead, and motivate a high-performing regional sales and business development team.
  • Recruit top talent, set clear performance objectives, and conduct regular performance reviews.
  • Foster a collaborative, results-driven culture focused on accountability and continuous improvement.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with delivery and implementation teams to ensure successful execution of client engagements.
  • Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders across sales support, operations, finance, and legal.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced training or education in business, sales, or management is an advantage.
  • 10+ years of experience in B2B enterprise sales within technology, payments, or financial services organizations.
  • Minimum 5 years in a leadership or people management role.
  • Strong, established network within banks, financial institutions, operators, and related service providers, including access to senior decision-makers.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering sustained revenue growth and winning large, complex deals.
  • Solid experience operating in regulated financial environments.
  • Deep familiarity with the GCC banking and payments landscape is essential.
  • Exposure to the KSA market is highly desirable.
  • Excellent negotiation skills with a proven ability to close high-value contracts.
  • Fluent in English; Native Arabic Speaker only!
