Job Title: Regulatory Compliance Manager (12-Month Contract)
Role Summary:
An established UAE-based bank is seeking a Regulatory Compliance Manager for a 12-month contract. This role will partner closely with the Head of Regulatory Compliance to ensure the bank remains aligned with all applicable regulatory requirements outside of Financial Crime, while driving oversight, advisory, and regulatory engagement activities.
Core Responsibilities:
Deliver regulatory assurance reviews across the organization, focusing on key UAE Central Bank requirements and broader regulatory obligations
Monitor and assess incoming regulatory updates, determine their impact, and coordinate implementation with relevant business units
Support regulatory inspections and act as a liaison with regulators and supervisory authorities
Oversee and maintain internal compliance records, including regulatory inventories, breach logs, and tracking mechanisms
Produce high-quality reports and updates for senior management and governance committees
Provide ongoing regulatory guidance to internal stakeholders and support FATCA/CRS-related processes
Design and deliver compliance-related training sessions and awareness initiatives when required
Ensure all regulatory filings and submissions are completed accurately and within required timelines
Take on additional responsibilities aligned with the scope and seniority of the role
Candidate Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline; professional certifications such as ACAMS are a plus
Minimum of 8 years experience within banking or financial services, including at least 5 years in a regulatory compliance capacity
Prior exposure to Audit or Legal functions would be beneficial
Strong working knowledge of UAE Central Bank regulations and AML/CFT frameworks
Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Able to operate independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
