Senior Reinsurance Broker - Abu Dhabi
Reporting to: Head of Growth
We are partnering with an exciting and well respected insurance and reinsurance organisation in Abu Dhabi to appoint a Senior Reinsurance Broker. This is a strategic, revenue-generating role suited to an experienced professional who can manage the full end-to-end reinsurance broking process while independently developing and securing new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
End-to-End Reinsurance Broking
- Lead and manage the complete reinsurance placement process from client onboarding through to renewal and claims support.
- Structure, negotiate, and place facultative and treaty reinsurance programmes across multiple classes of business.
- Conduct detailed risk analysis and prepare comprehensive market submissions and placement strategies.
- Manage slip preparation, wording negotiation, pricing discussions, and final placement documentation.
- Ensure full compliance with regulatory and internal governance requirements.
Market & Insurer Engagement
- Maintain and further develop strong relationships with regional and international reinsurance markets.
- Engage directly with reinsurers to negotiate optimal capacity, pricing, and terms.
- Stay informed on market trends, appetite shifts, pricing cycles, and emerging capacity.
Business Development
- Proactively originate and secure new reinsurance business within the UAE and wider GCC market.
- Leverage existing networks and relationships to expand the client portfolio.
- Identify cross-selling and growth opportunities within existing accounts.
- Represent the organisation at industry events and networking forums.
Client Management
- Act as a senior advisor to insurance company clients and cedants.
- Provide strategic guidance on programme structure, retention levels, and market positioning.

Mandatory Requirements:
- Minimum of 8 years in insurance or reinsurance industry
- Must speak clear and fluent English
- 10 years minimum of sales experience - preferably B2B
- Must be already located or willing to relocate to Abu Dhabi
