The Relationship Manager will manage a portfolio of High Net Worth (HNW) clients, ensuring their banking and financial needs are met efficiently while driving growth in client relationships and portfolio value. The role focuses on delivering personalized service, enhancing Wealth Management revenues, promoting cross-selling of bank products, and sourcing new business from HNW clients through referrals, marketing activities, and personal contacts.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with HNW clients, providing tailored Wealth Management solutions.
- Deliver a full suite of banking, investment, and asset products including Mutual Funds, Life Insurance, Bonds, Sukuk, Mortgages, Auto Loans, Loans against Shares, and Credit Cards, aligned to clients risk profiles.
- Achieve portfolio growth, revenue, and sales targets in line with business objectives.
- Proactively expand relationships with existing clients to maximize profitability while countering competition.
- Acquire new-to-bank HNW clients and portfolios, maintaining exceptional customer service standards.
- Conduct risk profiling and ensure all investment recommendations comply with client risk appetite.
- Ensure continuous client communication and engagement through regular calls, meetings, and updates in CRM systems.
- Resolve client queries promptly within defined turnaround times (TAT).
- Demonstrate values: integrity, customer focus, competence, consistency, and courteousness.
- Maintain compliance with internal policies, UAE banking regulations, and risk management procedures.
- Plan and execute inbound/outbound sales strategies to increase HNW client acquisition and portfolio growth.
Qualifications & Experience
- University graduate in Marketing, Banking, Finance, or a related field.
- CISI Level Three and ESCA UAE Rules & Regulations Certification (mandatory).
- 35 years experience in a Wealth Management role within a bank or financial services organization in the UAE, managing a portfolio of HNW clients.
- Strong communication skills in Russian or Chinese are required.
- Proven track record in client acquisition, portfolio growth, and revenue generation.
- Deep understanding of investment products, risk profiling, and financial planning for HNW clients.
