We're looking for driven Relationship Manager - SME Acquisition. The role is responsible for acquiring new SME clients and delivering tailored banking solutions across Working Capital, Unsecured Loans, Merchant POS Loans, Asset-Backed Lending, and Trade Finance products. This is a front-line, individual contributor position ideal for candidates with a strong sales orientation, deep knowledge of SME lending, and a passion for building long-term client relationships from the ground up.
What You Will Be Doing
- Identify and prospect new SME clients through direct sales, referrals, partnerships, and targeted market outreach.
- Acquire new SME banking relationships aligned with business growth objectives.
- Assess client needs and recommend suitable banking solutions including Working Capital Loans, Unsecured Loans, POS Lending, Supply Chain Finance,
- AssetBacked Loans, and Commercial Loans.
- Conduct thorough due diligence to ensure all business booked adheres to internal policies and regulatory guidelines.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales, acquisition, and fee income targets.
- Maintain a strong, active sales pipeline using CRM tools and structured leadtracking processes.
- Ensure smooth client onboarding by coordinating with Credit, Operations, and Documentation teams.
- Carry out KYC and duediligence checks in line with bank compliance and regulatory standards.
- Monitor market trends, competitive offerings, and SME sector developments to identify new business opportunities.
- Promote and articulate the bank's value proposition effectively to potential SME clients.
- Build and maintain long-term business relationships to drive customer loyalty and portfolio growth.
- Collaborate with Credit, Product, Operations, and Compliance teams to structure clientcentric and riskaligned solutions.
- Support internal stakeholders during deal structuring, credit assessments, and approval processes.
- Ensure high service quality and timely resolution of client queries throughout the onboarding journey.
- Uphold strong governance, risk management, and ethical sales practices in all client interactions.
What You Should Have
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA or CFA preferred)
- 710 years of experience in SME Banking, including Acquisitions, business development and relationship management.
- Proven track record of closing SME deals and managing complex credit relationships in the UAE or GCC region
