In this role, you will play a crucial part in evaluating patient care concerns and driving quality improvement initiatives within a specialized healthcare network. You will be tasked with reviewing clinical records while providing insights during complaint investigations. Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, your contributions will help enhance patient safety and care outcomes across the board. This position is fully remote, allowing you to work from wherever you are, given your residency in specified regions.
Accountabilities
- Review dialysis and transplant-related medical records to assess quality-of-care concerns.
- Provide clinical expertise during patient complaint and grievance investigations.
- Participate in assessments of healthcare facilities quality improvement readiness and safety programs.
- Evaluate organizational capacity, leadership engagement, and resource availability related to patient care standards.
- Conduct detailed root cause analyses and recommend corrective actions.
- Offer technical guidance and support to healthcare providers to improve clinical performance.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop improvement initiatives and educational resources.
- Support programs focused on patient-centered care, care coordination, wellness, and rehabilitation services.
- Analyze performance data to identify trends and guide evidence-based improvement strategies.
- Assist with regulatory documentation and reporting as required.
Requirements
- Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse license (in state you reside in).
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or a related healthcare field.
- Minimum of five (5) years of clinical experience in dialysis, renal care, or transplant services.
- Demonstrated experience in quality assurance, performance improvement, or case review functions.
- Residency in one of the specified regions: Pennsylvania, Delaware, Virginia, Maryland, District of Columbia, or West Virginia.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
