JOB TITLE

Replenishment Manager | MAF Retail | Egypt HO

ROLE SUMMARY

Role Purpose: The DC Replenishment Manager is responsible for all administrative and analysis tasks related to the replenishment of the warehouse. The role holder is also responsible for using best practices to optimize the replenishment and utilize synergies from an optimized sourcing strategy.

ROLE PROFILE

  • Propose the optimum ordering quantity to balance supplier and storage costs for Majid Al Futtaim Retail
  • Assist with the implementation of the performance management process by setting objectives, monitoring performance, and provide constructive feedback and provide inputs to senior management
  • Control the evolution of out of stock for the DC assortment and take appropriate actions to reduce it
  • Anticipate the stock of products to be expired and take appropriate actions accordingly
  • Participate with the management team to definition of the logistics strategic plan, and to review and maintain the SKU demand profiles
  • Provide mentorship for the purpose of developing a continuous talent pipeline for key roles
  • Perform the tracking of the orders sent by supplier to minimize the lead time to DC
  • Monitor the supplier service levels and perform regular performance reviews with suppliers with actions plans

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Commerce / Retail Management / Logistics
  • 5+ years managing demand planning/stock management (2 years as a manager)
  • 2+ years in retail business
  • Excellent analytical skills mainly using Excel
  • Very good command of English language
  • Very good communication and leadership skills
