Job Description

About the role
This position exists to support our ongoing work with a Sharjah entity, focusing on translating complex data sets into clear, actionable reports for our principals. The Reporting Analyst Assistant ensures that every view we form is grounded in accurate, verified information. Your work will provide the evidentiary base for the strategy and governance advice we deliver to our client.

About Arabian Private Holdings
Arabian Private Holdings operates on the understanding that critical business problems require direct attention from experienced partners rather than large teams of junior associates. We manage a limited number of mandates to ensure that our focus remains on providing independent advice and portfolio clarity for family groups and government entities. Our firm prioritizes the quality of our analysis and the strength of our client relationships over traditional corporate structures. We do not use lengthy methodologies for the sake of volume: we focus on the specific decisions our clients need to make. Our team works in a fully remote environment, emphasizing clarity of thought and written precision in everything we produce.

What you will do
  • Review internal data sets from the Sharjah project to identify trends and anomalies.
  • Assist in the creation of monthly and quarterly performance reports for holding company portfolios.
  • Validate the accuracy of financial and operational data provided by client subsidiaries.
  • Prepare concise briefing notes that summarize complex findings for the firm's principals.
  • Maintain organized repositories of research and historical data for ongoing mandates.
  • Support the development of visual aids that clarify corporate governance structures.
  • Conduct basic market research to provide context for the performance metrics being reported.
  • Assist in documenting operating model improvements for client feedback.

What we are looking for
  • A high level of intellectual curiosity and a desire to understand the mechanics of holding companies.
  • Excellent written precision in English, with the ability to explain numbers using plain words.
  • Basic familiarity with spreadsheet software and data visualization tools.
  • A logical approach to problem solving and the ability to spot inconsistencies in large documents.
  • Comfort working in a fully remote environment that requires self-directed focus.
  • The ability to follow instructions and ask clarifying questions when a mandate is unclear.

How we work
Arabian Private Holdings is a fully remote firm, meaning our team members work from their own environments without the overhead of a central office. We rely on clear communication and disciplined documentation to maintain our standards. Our approach to governance is reflected in how we mentor our junior staff: we expect you to form a view on the data you handle and be prepared to explain your reasoning to a principal. Because we avoid the typical consulting model of aggressive growth, we have the time to ensure our assistants learn the logic behind our operating models. You will be part of a small, focused group where your contribution to a mandate is visible and your professional development is tied to the quality of your output.

What the role offers
  • Exposure to high-level corporate strategy and governance mandates for significant regional entities.
  • Direct mentorship from principals who have extensive experience in portfolio management.
  • A fully remote working arrangement that prioritizes results and clarity over physical presence.
  • An attractive salary that is competitive for an entry level position in the professional services sector.
  • The opportunity to build a foundation in business intelligence and data reporting without the friction of a traditional large-firm hierarchy.
