KEY JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead a R&D team for new generation optical transceiver development.
- Cooperate closely with company's other functions or other sites for new product development and introduction into mass production.
- Ensure new products on lifetime reliability and manufacturability in mass production.
- Lead the team to fix customer issues in the field quickly.
- Coach and bring up engineers and module designers.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- MS+ in Laser, Optics, or Communications.
- 7+ years related professional experience and 3+ years experience to manage R&D team.
- Excellent knowledge in key components for 40G/100G/400G/800G optical transceivers for datacom applications such as HPC, data centers and Ethernet, familiar with various MSA and industry standards for datacom.
- Proven record in optical transceiver development, familiar with circuit design, optical design, link budget and integration with mechanical design, process development and firmware development.
- Thorough understanding of optical transceiver technical trend in the industry.
- Fluent in written and oral English, comfortable to work in a global environment that requires frequent cross-cultural communication and collaboration.
- Strong leadership and ability to manage, inspire and grow an R&D team.
- Result oriented, professional capability to work under delivery pressure.
