Research and Innovation Director

We are currently hiring for a Director, Research & Innovation (Equine Production) within a leading organization in Saudi Arabia.

This leadership role will drive research, innovation, and capability development, contributing to the advancement of a specialized and high-potential sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and execution of research and innovation strategies

• Oversee initiatives related to breeding programs, genetics, and production optimization

• Drive data-driven decision-making to enhance quality, performance, and sustainability

• Build and manage collaborations with research institutions and industry experts

• Contribute to the development of sector-wide standards, policies, and best practices

• Establish a strong innovation ecosystem and knowledge base

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in research, innovation, or applied sciences

• Background in animal science, veterinary science, agriculture, or related fields

• Proven leadership experience in driving R&D initiatives

• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and stakeholder management skills

• Experience in genetics, breeding, or production systems is highly preferred
