R&D Methodology Specialist who will be responsible for sample testing, data recording and performing routine checks to ensure the quality and integrity of data.
Job Description
Laboratory Performance
- Participate in all lab performance activities and, whenever applicable, compliance of lab activities with ISO/IEC 17025/GLP requirements.
- Implementing laboratory procedures effectively to control lab activities.
- Execute the approved internal quality control program to ensure proper control of technical processes.
- Execute equipment operation protocols, intermediate check procedures, and maintenance plan.Record results daily and report immediately any malfunction or abnormal results.
- Implement environmental monitoring program to affirm compliance with laboratory safety protocols and international regulations and maintain clean laboratory conditions.
External Customers
- Provides, when required, clarifications and answers to customer inquiries to attain customer satisfaction.
External Suppliers and Services
- Report on the unavailability of any lab supplies and write purchasing requests for missed products including supplies specifications.
- Analyze Proficiency Test (PT) samples according to provider instructions and document sample results.
Improvement
- Provide suggestions for laboratory operation improvement.
- Stay up to date with Scientific updates/ regulatory requirements.
Sample Testing Activities
- Analyze laboratory samples according to laboratory procedures, customer test request, and Lab head instructions to produce reliable results.
- Read and record samples results in appropriate technical forms.
- Execute method verification/validation protocols.
Must-have
Job requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in any of the following: Biotechnology, Science, Pharmacy or relevant scientific speciality.
- At least 4 years of Methodology experience in Pharmaceutical company or QC laboratories.
- Good command of both written and spoken in English.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in analytical work.
- Adhere to ICH, WHO, USP, and cGMP requirements in daily work.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Detail-oriented with strong documentation practices.
Nice To Have
- Experience in HPLC/GC operations.
- Familiarity with chromatographic and spectroscopic techniques.
