Job Title: Resource Planning Manager Aviation / MRO

Our client, a leading aviation and MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul) provider, is hiring a Resource Planning Manager to lead workforce planning and resource optimization across their operations. This is a key leadership role focused on aligning manpower with business goals and driving operational performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead resource and manpower planning across departments
- Analyze data, forecasts, and schedules to identify resource needs and risks
- Manage the implementation of planning tools and improve reporting capabilities
- Supervise Training and Scheduling teams to ensure efficiency
- Monitor productivity and utilization; set KPIs and performance benchmarks
- Conduct scenario planning to optimize costs and staffing
- Manage roster planning and determine full-time equivalent (FTE) requirements
- Recommend hiring, training, and process improvement strategies
- Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and environmental standards
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or similar
- Certifications in Six Sigma, PMP, or resource planning are a plus
- 812 years of management experience, including 35 years in aviation or MRO
- Strong understanding of aviation maintenance and industry regulations
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and ERP tools
- Skilled in forecasting, planning, and business analysis
- Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
