Job Description-:
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team. As a key member of our leadership group, the Restaurant Manager will be responsible for overseeing all operational aspects of our restaurant. This includes the opening and successful launch of new venues, ensuring top-notch guest experiences, and maintaining day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate will have previous experience opening new restaurants, a strong personality, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for hospitality.
Key Responsibilities:- Venue Operations:
- Lead the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
- Oversee and manage front-of-house and back-of-house teams to deliver exceptional customer service and dining experiences.
- Ensure high operational standards across the restaurant, including cleanliness, food quality, and service.
- New Venue Opening & Launch:
- Play an integral role in the opening of new restaurant locations, ensuring all operations are streamlined and ready for launch.
- Assist in the development of opening strategies, timelines, and processes for a smooth opening.
- Ensure that the restaurant's concept, menu, and ambiance align with brand standards and meet guest expectations.
- Coordinate with contractors, designers, and suppliers during the pre-opening phase to guarantee readiness for service.
- Staff Management & Development:
- Train, and supervise restaurant staff, ensuring they understand their roles and adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Foster a positive work environment, promoting teamwork, and providing leadership to motivate and inspire staff.
- Manage staff schedules, ensuring proper staffing levels during peak hours and events.
- Conduct performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and implement training to improve the team's skills.
- Guest Experience & Customer Service:
- Lead by example, ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction through consistent attention to detail and a positive attitude.
- Resolve customer complaints and concerns promptly, professionally, and empathetically.
- Implement guest feedback mechanisms to ensure continuous improvement of service standards.
- Financial Management & Cost Control:
- Monitor and manage the restaurant's budget, controlling costs, including food, labor, and overheads, while maintaining a high-quality service experience.
- Conduct inventory checks and ensure proper stock levels for both front-of-house and back-of-house operations.
- Work with senior management to meet or exceed financial targets, including revenue and profit goals.
- Health & Safety Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations concerning health, safety, and sanitation standards.
- Implement proper food safety protocols and maintain cleanliness across the entire restaurant.
- Marketing & Promotion:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to drive restaurant promotions, special events, and seasonal offerings.
- Build and maintain relationships with local communities, influencers, and partners to increase brand awareness.
Skills & Qualifications:- Experience:
- Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar role, with at least 6 to 7 years in a leadership position.
- Strong experience in opening new restaurants or venues and managing large-scale operations.
- Previous experience in managing both front-of-house and back-of-house teams.
- Leadership & Personality:
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, inspire, and guide a diverse team.
- Charismatic and confident with the ability to handle high-pressure situations and engage with guests.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Operational Expertise:
- In-depth knowledge of restaurant operations, including staffing, budgeting, scheduling, inventory management, and quality control.
- Familiarity with POS systems, restaurant management software, and financial reporting.
