Our client, a globally recognised luxury fashion house, is seeking a highly experienced Retail Director to oversee and develop its retail network across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
This position represents a key leadership role within the regional organisation and is responsible for driving retail excellence, commercial performance, and an elevated client experience across the boutique network. The role requires a strategic yet hands-on retail leader capable of developing high-performing boutique teams while ensuring full alignment with the brand's global standards and vision.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and develop the retail network across Saudi Arabia, driving sales performance, operational excellence, and long-term business growth.
Provide strong leadership and guidance to Boutique Managers and retail teams, building a culture of accountability, collaboration, and exceptional client experience.
Monitor boutique performance through the analysis of key retail metrics, sales trends, and market insights, identifying opportunities to optimise performance and strengthen business outcomes.
Ensure the consistent delivery of the brand's luxury service standards across all boutiques, maintaining the highest level of client engagement and relationship management.
Partner closely with Marketing, PR, and Client Engagement teams to support retail initiatives involving VIP clients, stylists, influencers, and key opinion leaders.
Conduct regular boutique visits to assess operational standards, provide coaching and leadership to store teams, and ensure alignment with commercial and brand objectives.
Support boutique openings, relocations, and renovation projects across the region, ensuring operational readiness and seamless execution.
Provide ongoing coaching and development to Boutique Managers and Assistant Managers, reviewing performance, KPIs, incentive structures, and staffing needs.
Prepare and present End of Month reporting, providing detailed analysis of retail performance, emerging trends, and competitor activity.
Ensure full adherence to company policies, operational procedures, HR guidelines, and security protocols across all boutiques.
Oversee loss prevention processes including cycle counts, stock control procedures, and incident reporting to ensure inventory integrity.
Ensure boutiques maintain exceptional visual merchandising standards and brand presentation in line with guidelines established by global headquarters.
Maintain strong operational organisation between Front of House and Back of House functions to ensure smooth product flow and operational efficiency.
Candidate Profile
Extensive experience within luxury retail management, ideally overseeing multiple boutiques within a country or regional structure.
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to interpret retail performance data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
A natural leader with a proven ability to inspire, develop, and lead high-performing boutique teams.
Exceptional organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with experience collaborating across marketing, merchandising, operations, and regional leadership teams.
Ability to represent and embody the brand's values, image, and vision at the highest level.
