PetCare is seeking a Retail Marketing Executive to take full ownership of in-store marketing execution, brand visibility, and customer engagement across our retail network. This role requires a strategic doer who can drive campaigns from planning to flawless execution, ensuring that store-level initiatives translate into measurable impact. The ideal candidate thrives in dynamic retail environments, understands customer behavior, and can align on-ground activity with broader digital marketing support. Experience in the pet care industry is advantageous, but a strong foundation in retail marketing and team coordination is essential.
Key Responsibilities
Retail Marketing Execution
- Plan and implement in-store marketing initiatives across all PetCare retail outlets.
- Ensure accurate execution of branding, POSM, signage, promotions, and seasonal campaigns.
- Coordinate campaigns that are closely aligned with sales targets and store objectives.
- Monitor store performance and propose improvements to enhance footfall, engagement, and conversion rates.
Campaign Planning & Budget Management
- Support retail marketing budget planning and allocation.
- Track and manage marketing spends to ensure cost-effective execution.
- Collaborate with management to align budgets with store performance and ROI.
Team Coordination & Execution Oversight
- Work with store managers, sales teams, vendors, and internal marketing teams to ensure smooth campaign rollout.
- Keep store teams informed and aligned with ongoing initiatives.
- Take accountability for quality, timelines, and consistency across multiple locations.
Digital & Online Support
- Support digital marketing initiatives related to retail, including offers, store campaigns, and local promotions.
- Coordinate with digital teams for social media, Google, WhatsApp, and other local marketing efforts.
- Ensure alignment of messaging across online and offline channels.
Market & Trend Awareness
- Keep abreast of retail marketing trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activity.
- Suggest innovative ideas to enhance customer engagement and in-store experiences.
- Track competitor campaigns within the pet care and broader retail industry.
Requirements & Qualifications
- 36 years of experience in retail marketing (FMCG, lifestyle, beauty, pharmacy, or pet industry preferred).
- Strong understanding of retail marketing execution and store-level campaigns.
- Proven ability to coordinate multiple teams and initiatives effectively.
- Experience in marketing budget planning and spend tracking.
- Working knowledge of digital marketing platforms and retail-focused campaigns.
- Ability to manage priorities across multiple stores simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in the pet care industry is a plus but not mandatory.
