As a Returns Coordinator, you will play a critical role in managing the returns process to ensure efficiency and customer satisfaction. Your responsibilities will include:
- Processing Returns: Receive, sort, and process returned shipments, ensuring all items are logged accurately.
- Quality Control: Inspect returned goods for damage, defects, or discrepancies, and determine eligibility for restocking or refunds.
- Coordination: Collaborate with delivery drivers, warehouse staff, and customer service teams to resolve return-related issues promptly.
- Data Management: Update and maintain accurate records of returns in the company's inventory and tracking systems.
- Process Optimization: Identify bottlenecks in the returns process and suggest improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Customer Communication: Occasionally liaise with customers to clarify return details or resolve disputes.
- Compliance: Ensure all returns adhere to company policies and industry regulations.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Returns Coordinator or in a similar role within a shipping or logistics company.
- Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using inventory management software and basic Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word).
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with internal teams and occasional customer interaction.
- Comfortable working 10-hour rotating shifts, including weekends if required.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics processes is a plus.
