Role Description The Revenue Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of revenue optimization for Steigenberger Nile Palace Luxor, ensuring maximum profitability across rooms, conference facilities, and ancillary services. This full-time, on-site role, based in Egypt, includes monitoring daily pickup, analyzing demand patterns, and adjusting pricing strategies and inventory controls accordingly. The role involves preparing revenue reports, forecasting business performance, and collaborating with sales, marketing, and front office teams to align strategies with market conditions. The Revenue Manager will manage distribution channels, maintain rate parity, and ensure accurate revenue recognition in coordination with the finance and accounting teams. Daily tasks also include reviewing competitor data, supporting budgeting processes, and contributing to long-term revenue management initiatives.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills, including data interpretation, forecasting, and performance tracking.
- Proficiency in revenue management, including pricing strategy, demand analysis, and inventory control.
- Solid knowledge of finance and accounting principles relevant to hotel operations.
- Experience with revenue recognition processes and alignment with financial reporting standards.
- Previous experience in hospitality or hotel revenue management, preferably in upscale or luxury properties.
- Comfort with revenue management systems, property management systems, and online distribution channels.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments.
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, finance, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under time-sensitive conditions.
- Proficiency in English; additional languages relevant to the region are an advantage.
