Role Overview:
This is a full-time on-site role for a Reverse Osmosis Plant Operator, located in Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates. The Reverse Osmosis (RO) Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining the RO water treatment system to ensure the continuous production of high-quality purified water. The operator will oversee plant operations, perform routine inspections, maintain system efficiency, and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor Reverse Osmosis (RO) systems and related water treatment equipment.
- Check system parameters such as pressure, flow, and water quality.
- Adjust valves, pumps, and controls to maintain optimal plant performance.
- Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance of RO membranes, pumps, and filters.
- Conduct routine inspections of pumps, membranes, filters, dosing systems, and pipelines.
- Report equipment faults and assist in maintenance activities.
- Identify and report equipment faults or system abnormalities.
- Conduct regular water quality testing and record results, and ensure treated water meets specified standards and operational targets.
- Maintain accurate operational logs, reports, and maintenance records.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of chemicals used in the treatment process.
Required Qualifications:
- Diploma or technical certification in Mechanical, Chemical, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
- 25 years of experience operating Reverse Osmosis or water treatment plants.
- Knowledge of RO membranes, pumps, valves, and water treatment processes.
- Ability to read gauges, meters, and system control panels.
- Strong technical and troubleshooting skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to monitor system performance.
- Basic computer skills for logging data and reporting.
Working Conditions:
- Work may involve shift operations, including nights and weekends.
- Exposure to industrial equipment, chemicals, and water treatment systems.
