The Project
This opportunity is to be involved in a major mixed-use development, in Riyadh. The programme consists of over 200 projects including cultural and heritage assets, F&B, retail and hotels, commercial buildings and educational facilities.
As a Risk Manager you will support the implementation and administration of a comprehensive range of risk management services to support the PMO commission and provide guidance for others within the Client Organisation, PMO team and wider Mace business as required.
You'll Be Responsible For
- Support the delivery of risk management performance and ensure effective implementation of risk frameworks and strategies across assigned commissions.
- Provide expert advice to project teams on risk processes, including escalation of key risks and alignment with project objectives.
- Facilitate and lead risk workshops, driving collaboration and proactive identification of opportunities and mitigations.
- Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, ensuring confidence in risk management practices.
- Develop and monitor risk mitigation action plans, appoint owners, and integrate updates into project plans.
- Deliver quantitative risk analysis (cost and time) and produce monthly risk reports for both clients and internal teams.
- Collaborate with PMO and planning disciplines to embed risk management into wider project controls and governance.
- Mentor junior risk managers and contribute to Mace's net zero carbon transition by integrating carbon risk considerations into project delivery.
You'll Need To Have
- Proven experience delivering risk management frameworks on complex construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of risk tools, techniques, and reporting suites (e.g., Primavera, riskHive, Power BI).
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and presentation skills.
- Relevant degree with progress toward chartered status or professional membership.
