Job Description
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented
Risk Manager to join our team in Riyadh! You will ensure that risks across planning, design, construction, handover, and operations are systematically identified, assessed, mitigated, and monitored, safeguarding schedule, cost, quality, safety, and stakeholder expectations. You will work closely with the client, delivery partners, authorities, and external stakeholders to implement an integrated risk management framework tailored to large residential and mixed-use developments.

- We need our Risk Managers to be versatile as well as have exceptional communication, analytical and management skills.
- In this role you provide management and Risk leadership and support for our entire team.
- You will recruit, interview, and evaluate prospective employees as well as hire, offer personnel development, conduct performance evaluations, counsel employees, takes corrective actions (as required), and approves terminations.
- One of your roles will include ensuring that new employees receive orientation on company policies and procedures.
- Develops and implements the program risk management plans.
- Develops Standard operating procedures for the risk management of the program and ensure that QIP delivers operational consistency across the program.
- Provides outreach oversight and provides coaching and guidance to the risk management program activities concerning day to day performance of the work scope.
- Leads forming partnerships with key stakeholders and organizations impacted by the program.
- Responsible for oversight of all risk management among our team.
- Responsible for risk management of all external and third-party approvals.
- Reports risk management issues to the Senior Controls & Reporting Director and develops appropriate recommendations/resolutions/mitigations as necessary.
- Assigns work to employees, oversees, and tracks the completion of work assignments.
- Interviews and selects personnel for assignment as required.
- Maintains clear and concise work standards and goals; provides training and development; completes performance evaluations, conducts employee counselling, takes corrective action as necessary.
- Ensures adherence to all corporate, contractual, ethics and safety standards, policies and procedures.
- Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
What Required Skills You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management (or related field) with 15+ years of related experience, including supervisory/managerial experience.
- 10+ years experience in large residential or mixed used development projects.
- Requires basic engineering knowledge in electrical, mechanical, civil, or a related field
- Proven ability to perform in a supervisory capacity
- Thorough knowledge of industry practices is required
- Demonstrated leadership and management skills.
- Strong written and oral communication, organizational, interpersonal skills, and customer service skills are required, both internal and external facing.
- Ability to work in teams. Ability to follow through. Ability to clearly deliver work instructions in a complex risk environment.
- Must function effectively under time constraints, schedule workload to meet deadlines, and have the ability to prioritize.
- High-level understanding and appreciation of risk management in complex risk environments and within the major program sector, preferably within the KSA.
- Ability to work in a matrix organization (dual reporting). Ability to interact with an influence senior-level management. Ability to consult, motivate, and negotiate effectively with client groups, co-workers, employees, vendors, and contractors.
