Role Overview:

Experienced Risk Manager with a background in project management and construction management for road supervision projects (PMCM). The role involves overseeing multiple construction packages and providing comprehensive risk management, and site supervision support throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the Project Risk Management Plan in accordance with Client's procedures.
  • Establish and maintain the project risk register, identifying risks across design, construction, and interface activities.
  • Perform cost and schedule risk analysis and prepare regular risk reports summarizing key risks, mitigations, and contingency status.
  • Monitor and track the effectiveness of mitigation actions taken by contractors and internal teams.
  • Work closely with project controls and cost management teams to integrate risk and contingency data with overall project reporting.
  • Coordinate risk workshops and review sessions with client and contractors to identify and update risk exposures.
  • Support client requests for risk assessment and mitigation activities across the project lifecycle.
  • Identify and quantify retained risks and provide recommendations for contingency reserves allocation.
  • Prepare and submit periodic risk assessment reports highlighting trends, top risks, and recommended mitigation strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Degree or professional qualification, plus membership in a chartered institution.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in risk management including experience in infrastructure/road projects.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple contract packages concurrently.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
