Job Description
- Provide frontline technical support to staff and students across devices, including laptops, iPads, printers, smartboards, phones and AV systems
- Resolve helpdesk requests efficiently to minimise disruption and downtime
- Install, configure, test and support hardware, software and school ‑ specific applications
- Manage user accounts and access via Microsoft 365, Active Directory and Group Policies
- Support SharePoint, OneDrive and Microsoft Teams environments
- Set up and support AV and IT requirements for meetings, events and school activities
- Manage BYOD and mobile devices using MDM solutions
- Support VOIP telephony, CCTV systems and school ERP platforms (e.g. GRP)
- Coordinate onboarding and offboarding of staff and students
- Monitor, maintain and escalate issues related to print management services
- Track IT and AV assets, including inventory updates and secure equipment disposal
- Provide cover and support for IT colleagues as required
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 2–4 years experience in an IT support role, ideally within an educational or international environment
- Strong hands ‑ on experience with user support, system installation and troubleshooting
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Supporting AV systems in schools or similar environments
- Exposure to school ERP platforms (e.g. Engage, GRP)
- Understanding of safeguarding, data protection and IT security practices
- Experience working in a bilingual or international setting
