Key
Responsibilities
Perform cleaning duties according to established
procedures and standards, ensuring the cleanliness and tidiness of assigned
guest rooms, suites, and public areas.
Make beds, change linens, vacuum carpets, dust
surfaces, and clean bathrooms to ensure a pristine and appealing presentation.
Replenish amenities, toiletries, and supplies in guest
rooms, ensuring that each room is fully stocked and ready for occupancy.
Attend to guests requests for extra amenities or
services promptly and courteously, contributing to their overall satisfaction.
Maintain a keen eye for detail, identifying any
maintenance issues, damages, or repairs required within the rooms and promptly
reporting them to the maintenance team.
Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and
procedures to ensure the well-being of guests, fellow colleagues, and yourself.
Follow the established lost and found procedures,
reporting any items left behind by guests to the relevant department.
Collaborate closely with other departments, such as
Front Desk and Maintenance, to ensure a seamless guest experience.
Attend
training sessions and meetings as required to stay updated on new cleaning
techniques, standards, and hotel policies.
Requirements
What We re Looking For
Previous pre-opening experience in a luxury
hotel setting is advantageous, demonstrating your familiarity with the
intricacies of setting up and maintaining high standards from the outset.
Fluency in English is an absolute requirement,
both written and spoken, to effectively communicate with guests and colleagues.
Knowledge or experience with Forbes and LQA
(Leading Quality Assurance) standards is advantageous, reflecting your
commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Proven experience in a similar role within the
hospitality industry is preferred, showcasing your understanding of
housekeeping operations and attention to detail.
Strong interpersonal skills and a positive
attitude, coupled with the ability to work effectively within a diverse team.
Physical fitness and the ability to carry out
demanding tasks, such as lifting and moving heavy objects, as well as standing
for extended periods.
Exceptional time management skills, allowing
you to efficiently complete tasks within established timeframes.
Flexibility to work different shifts,
including weekends and holidays, based on business needs.
High level of professionalism and integrity,
maintaining guest confidentiality and respecting privacy at all times.
