Job Description

Role Description The Safety Compliance Specialist role at CV Professionnel is a part-time remote position focused on supporting and enhancing organizational compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards. The specialist monitors safety practices, reviews policies and procedures, and provides guidance to ensure alignment with relevant regulations and best practices. Daily responsibilities include conducting virtual safety assessments, preparing compliance reports, and updating documentation and guidelines. The role also involves collaborating with internal stakeholders, delivering remote safety training sessions, and advising on corrective actions following incidents or identified risks. The specialist regularly analyzes incident data, supports accident investigations, and recommends improvements to reduce hazards and promote a strong safety culture.
Qualifications
  • Demonstrated skills in Health & Safety and Occupational Health to assess risks and support compliance with applicable standards.
  • Experience with Environment Health and Safety (EHS) programs, including the ability to review policies and ensure environmental and workplace safety requirements are met.
  • Ability to design and deliver Safety Training that effectively communicates procedures, regulatory obligations, and best practices to diverse audiences.
  • Competence in Accident Investigation, including collecting information, analyzing root causes, and documenting findings and corrective actions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail in reviewing reports, metrics, and safety documentation.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills for preparing clear guidance, reports, and training materials in a remote environment.
  • Experience working independently, managing multiple priorities, and collaborating virtually with cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with relevant occupational safety regulations and standards; certifications such as OSHA, NEBOSH, or equivalent are beneficial.
  • Previous experience in safety compliance, risk management, or a related field is preferred.
