Safety Coordinator

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) requirements, maintaining a safe work environment and preventing workplace injuries and accidents.

• Conduct risk assessments for site activities.

• Ensure adherence to all site safety rules and regulations.

• Develop and implement Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) policies and procedures.

• Enforce preventive safety measures across the workplace.

• Prepare and deliver reports on accidents, incidents, and safety violations, including root cause investigations.

• Monitor workplace repairs, installations, and other activities that may pose risks to employee safety.

• Maintain safety-related documentation in accordance with ISO 45001 requirements.

• Perform additional duties as assigned based on site operational needs.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Safety Coordinator within the semiconductor industry.

• At least 2 years of experience in the construction industry.

• Strong knowledge of relevant safety legislation, regulations, and procedures.

• Good understanding of hazardous materials, unsafe conditions, and high-risk work practices.

• Experience in developing health and safety policies and procedures.

• Possession of certifications in Manage Work at Height, First Aid, and WSH Coordinator Training.

• Available to commence work immediately or within a short notice period.

• Minimum qualification: Advanced Certificate in WSH.

• Able to read and write Chinese to review technical documentation and communicate with Chinese-speaking stakeholders when required.
